Tera is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner originally from Tennessee. She began her nursing career after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in 1994. She spent several years in Johnson City, Tennessee working as a Registered Nurse, specializing in adult telemetry and progressive care. She relocated to Florida in 1998, where she continued working as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at a local Tampa hospital. She returned to graduate school in 2008, and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Family Health Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2011. She joined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 2012. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nursing Council, and the Florida Nurse Practitioner  Network. She is married with three children, and enjoys reading, board games, puzzles, and spending time at the beach.
