Dr. Frank Demery, Jr. was born in Miami, Florida and traveled to North Carolina where he studied pre-med at Duke University. There he received a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Psychology. Subsequently, he returned to Florida and received his M.D. from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. After graduation, he remained at USF in the combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency program. During his residency training, he has generously volunteered in medical missions throughout several underdeveloped villages in both Honduras and Guatemala. Today he resides in Tampa participating in many community activities and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Medical Association. He also acts as a Voluntary Clinical Faculty member at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in both departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
